Things I am Grateful for Today
- Think I injured myself a little while doing sprinting the last 2 days. But I’m still able to walk so I’m going to play soccer tonight!
- Grateful to have lunch with Zhiyuan just now. Ate Chicken chop!
- Mum made vegetable soup for dinner
Last week Stanley told me I could work on my passing to become a better Defender. Tonight, I’ll seize the opportunity to become the best I can ever be in the field. I’ll do more straightforward passes and solely focus on defending and winning the ball. I reckon I’ll have to perform more sliding tackles today too.
Instead of playing with Chuan and Stanley, I’ll be playing with James and Zhiyuan tonight. It will be a new formation but hopefully, we’ll do our best and win our games.
We dominated the entire 2 hours today and it was a pleasure to play alongside James and Zhiyuan. I was injured therefore I didn’t close-down as much as I’d like to, I merely did what I was supposed to do. Made a perfectly timed sliding tackle as a last man and I’m proud of that tackle. I don’t want to hurt others or myself so I’m gonna do more sliding-tackle drills at home.
