Things I am Grateful for Today
- Woke up a little cranky because I had some weird dreams so I decided to do some exercise to make up for the crankiness – glad I did. I felt much better afterwards.
- Reading 1 of my favourite books now – The Slight Edge – This is probably my 4th time reading it but I am still able to learn something valuable out of it.
- Jogging/running makes easy. Stadium is mere 5-10 minutes walk from my place.
I am very excited to visit my best friend’s newly opened bistro bar in 2 hours. I am very grateful for all the memories I’ve had with this guy especially when we were much younger. Knew this bugger since I was 11 or 12 years old and I can honestly say that without him my life would very much be different today.
I did pretty well today in terms of managing my time. I was quite cranky earlier today but I was glad that I seized the opportunity to run just now regardless of the crankiness – it was a pretty satisfying run. Oatmeal + Red beans meal was a well-deserved reward after the run. Apart from running, I also draft out 2 job positions which will be open in 2019. A draft that I was neglecting for over a week now. Thank God I did it today!
Had an amazing chat with Aaron regarding his work and life after attending bk’s bistro opening. Haven’t seen him for so long. I’m glad he’s doing well in his career and he’s happy to have a family!
